JOB ADVERT – GENERAL MANAGER EQUIPMENT RENTAL

The General Manager Equipment Rental is responsible for the strategic, commercial, and operational leadership of the division. The role focuses on driving business growth, profitability, fleet optimization, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. The General Manager will lead a team to maximize asset utilization, customer satisfaction, and market share within the mining and construction sectors.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  

1. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS  
QUALIFICATIONS  

● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.  

● Certifications in Supply Chain or Financial Management  
WORK EXPERIENCE  

● 10 – 15 years of experience in the mining equipment rental, heavy machinery, or construction equipment industry.  

● 8 – 10 years in a senior management or executive role with full P&L responsibility.  

● Strong experience in commercial contract negotiations, fleet management, and operational leadership.  
  2. DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS  
● Master’s in Business Administration, will be advantageous.
● Track record in legal compliance, corporate governance, and strategic operations management.
